NASA Visit

Knoch High School students had the unique opportunity of meeting with a NASA astronaut who spent 6 months on the International Space Station.  Mr. Woody Hoburg visited with students enrolled in the AP science classes.  He showed them photographs of various stages of the preparation, flight to the station, activities on the station, and the return "splash down" off the shores of Florida.  Students had an extensive opportunity to ask questions about his experiences.

Thank you to Mr. Hoburg for taking the time to visit.  The Knoch School District also wishes to thank Mars New Year for making this visit a possibility and Mars Robotics' members and Mr. Jeff Beckstead for coordinating the events at both Mars School District and Knoch.
