Knoch Swim Team WPIAL Results:
The Girls 200 Medley Relay took 8th place and medaled. Swimmers were Olivia Walewski, Giona Lavorini, Ryleigh Kabala, and Allison Smith.
The Boys 200 Medley Relay took 9th place. Swimmers were Brady Bleicher, Adrian Lavorini, Aedan Smith, and Jacob Ruediger.
Sophomore Olivia Walewski took 14th in the 200 Freestyle and 13th in the 100 Backstroke.
Senior Giona Lavorini took 3rd in the 200 IM (Individual Medley) and medaled.
Sophomore Jacob Ruediger took 11th in the 200 IM and 14th in the 500 Freestyle.
Freshman Brady Bleicher took 16th in the 200 IM and 11th in the 100 Backstroke.
Freshman Ryan Karwoski took 15th in the 100 Backstroke.
Freshman Ryleigh Kabala took 24th in the 500 Freestyle and 29th in the 200 IM.
Junior Adrian Lavorini took 3rd in the 200 IM and 5th in the 100 Breastroke, medaling for both.
The Girls 200 Free Relay took 15th. Swimmers included Olivia Walewski, Giona Lavorini, Ryleigh Kabala, and Allison Smith.
The Boys 200 Free Relay took 10th. Swimmers included Brady Bleicher, Adrian Lavorini, Aedan Smith, and Jacob Ruediger.
The Girls 400 Free Relay took 18th. Swimmers included Allison Smith, Sophia Greene, Lindsay Mack, and Josie Graper.
The Boys 400 Free Relay took 17th. Swimmers included Liam Smith, Ryan Karwoski, Talon Smith, and Aedan Smith.
Olivia Walewski reset her 100 Backstroke school record with a time of 1:01.39.
Adrian Lavorini broke the school record in the 200 IM, swimming a 1:55.84. This replaces the record of 1:56.65, set by John Wilson in 2017.
Giona Lavorini defended her title as the 100 Breaststroke WPIAL 2A Champion. This is her second year holding the title.
The following swimmers qualified for the PIAA State Championship held at Bucknell University on March 12th and 13th:
