On Wednesday, November 4, Knoch High School chemistry students had the opportunity to attend the annual Faraday Lecture at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Pittsburgh.
This year’s program, “The Chem-Mystery Files: Not What It Seems,” was presented by a team from the Kamin Science Center. Students enjoyed a series of engaging chemical demonstrations that explored different scientific principles and brought chemistry concepts to life.
Sponsored annually by the Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh and the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh, the Faraday Lecture aims to inspire students to explore the exciting world of physical science.
