Senora Christine Davies
Bienvenidos! Welcome to Spanish III, IV and V! It is a pleasure to be with your students! Es un placer!
I have passionately taught Spanish at South Butler for over twenty five years! I enjoy and accept the challenge of teaching our students to speak, read and write Spanish, and to relay the importance of speaking the language and understanding the Hispanic Culture and our own culture here in the United States.
I have a Masters Degree from Gannon University, and have used my degree to become enlightened, and to educate my students.
I am also the Spanish Club Advisor where we engage in Hispanic Cultural Support Activities, community activities like singing Spanish Christmas Carols at Saxony Health Care, and raising scholarship monies for our Spanish students through our Annual Valentine's Rose Sale.
The classes and club activities provide opportunities to engage, develop and promote positive communication and understanding in the target language, Spanish, and our own language, English. The processes are a joyous journey into becoming better problem solvers and citizens in our school, in our communities and in the global arena.
