On Saturday, Knoch Freshman Owen Layhew was the lone Knoch wrestler to place at WPIAL AA Eastern Sectional. He placed 5th in the 152 lb. bracket and advances on to compete in the WPIAL AA tournament this Friday and Saturday at Chartiers Valley HS.
On Sunday, Freshman Braylee Ireland won an individual championship at 118 lb. at The Western PA Girls Championships at North Allegheny High School.
