Knoch Senior Giona Lavorini recently signed a letter of intent to swim at Pitt. Giona is the daughter of Mark and Ronata Lavorini of Butler. At Knoch, Giona's achievements include:
Current WPIAL Champion in the 100 breaststroke
Current PIAA State Champion in the 100 breaststroke
Medaled every year at both WPIALs and States
Team Captain for the 2024-2025 season
While at Pitt, Giona plans to study Biology on a pre-dental track.
